One team. One mission — developing the next generation of Taekwondo practitioners and athletes.
With decades of experience in Taekwondo, Kelvin Lim is the driving force behind Taekwondo Masters Academy Singapore. His coaching philosophy goes beyond teaching techniques — he believes in developing discipline, confidence, resilience and character through Taekwondo.
Kelvin has been actively involved in Taekwondo training, athlete development, competition preparation and event organisation. His experience extends from grassroots development to high-level competitive Taekwondo, with students participating in local, national and international competitions.
As the academy’s Head Coach, Kelvin oversees the overall training direction and athlete development pathway, ensuring that students receive structured and progressive coaching appropriate to their age and ability.
He is also actively involved in the development and organisation of Taekwondo competitions and international programmes, giving TMAS students valuable opportunities to train, compete and gain exposure beyond Singapore.
“We don’t just train athletes. We develop people who can face challenges with confidence, discipline and perseverance.”
Jonas Lim is part of the coaching team at Taekwondo Masters Academy Singapore and plays an important role in supporting the academy’s students in their Taekwondo journey.
Working closely with the academy’s coaching team, Jonas helps students develop their fundamental techniques, physical abilities, discipline and confidence. He works with students across different levels, helping beginners establish strong foundations while supporting more experienced practitioners in their continued development.
Jonas also contributes to competition preparation and training, helping athletes develop the focus, discipline and determination required to perform under pressure.
As a younger member of the coaching team, Jonas represents the next generation of Taekwondo coaches and leaders within TMAS. His role is not only to teach, but also to inspire students through his own commitment to learning, training and continuous improvement.
“Every student has the potential to improve. Our role as coaches is to guide them, challenge them and help them believe in what they can achieve.”
At Taekwondo Masters Academy Singapore, Kelvin and Jonas work together as part of a coaching team dedicated to developing the next generation of Taekwondo practitioners and athletes.
With a combination of experience, youthful energy and a shared passion for Taekwondo, our coaches strive to create an environment where students can learn with confidence, train with discipline and grow with purpose.
